A'r diweddaraf gan Lafur Arfon

Mae'r blog yma wedi beirniadu Plaid Lafur Arfon yn y gorffennol am ymgyrchu ar faterion amherthnasol a gwirion.  Beirniadaeth neu beidio 'does yna ddim byd yn newid - fel mae'r trydariadiadau yma a gyhoeddwyd ddoe gan arweinydd Llafur ar Gyngor Gwynedd, Sion Jones. Ymddengys bod Plaid Cymru yn shambls o blaid oherwydd bod Prif Weithredwr Cyngor Gwynedd yn ennill mwy na £100,000.  Yn rhyfedd ddigon cafodd y trydariad ei gyhoeddi ar yr un diwrnod ag oedd Carwyn Jones yn gorfod ateb cwestiynau am bod Cyngor (Llafur) Caerdydd wedi caniatau i'w Prif Weithredwr nhw gael £170,000 y flwyddyn.


Fel sy'n weddol gyffredin efo Llafur mae'r trydariad uchod yn ffeithiol anghywir.  Mae cyflog Prif Weithredwr Gwynedd yn yr amrediad £100,536 - £108,264.  Dyma'r amrediad sydd wedi bodoli ers 2008.  Mae'r cynnydd o 10% yn gynnydd cwbl ddychmygol.  


Rwan mae'n wir bod Prif Weithredwr y cyngor yn derbyn mymryn mwy na £100,000 o gyflog - ond mae'r cyflog hwnnw ymysg yr isaf yng Nghymru (ac o bosibl yng ngweddill y DU hefyd).  Mae Ann Hopcyn yn ateb ei sylw efo linc i'r tabl isod.  Mi fyddwn yn nodi bod y tabl ychydig yn garedig efo Llafur yn yr ystyr nad yw'n llawn gynrychioli brwdfrydedd y blaid honno i roi cyflogau sylweddol iawn i uchel swyddogion.  Roedd Llafur yn rhan o'r weinyddiaeth yn Sir Gaerfyrddin a ddaeth i'r casgliad bod eu prif swyddog nhw werth £185,000 y flwyddyn.


Ond mae pethau hyd yn oed yn waeth na hynny mewn gwirionedd.  Mae yna lawer o swyddogion eraill ar gynghorau sy'n ennill mwy na £100,000 - gyda'r rhan fwyaf ohonyn nhw'n gweithio i gynghorau sydd o dan reolaeth llwyr, neu reolaeth rannol Llafur.  Hyd y gwn i nid yw'r ffigyrau yma wedi eu coledu ers 2013 - ond dyma ganfyddiadau Wales Online yn ystod y flwyddyn honno.  Mae'r ffigyrau yn cyfeirio at 2011/12.

Mae llywodraeth Carwyn Jones yn honni eu bod yn gwrthwynebu cyflogau uchel iawn i uchel swyddogion cynghorau, tra'n gwrthod gwneud dim i fynd i'r afael efo'r sefyllfa.
