Ysgrifennydd Seneddol David Jones

Felly dydi David Jones ddim eisiau Glyn Davies yn ysgrifennydd seneddol iddo - nag unrhyw un o'r aelodau Ceidwadol Cymreig eraill sydd ar gael chwaith o ran hynny. David Kawczynski aelod seneddol o Loegr, sydd o gefndir Pwylaidd ydi'r dyn lwcus.

Fel y gwelwch o'r linc mae Daniel Kawczynski ar adain Dde ei blaid - mae'n perthyn i'r grwp Cornerstone. Mae yna hefyd anghydfod bach diddorol ynglyn a gwahanol lyfrau am y Dwyrain Canol mae'n honni i fod wedi eu hysgrifennu. Fo hefyd ydi'r aelod seneddol talaf erioed yn ol pob tebyg - mae'n 6"8 1/2'.

Beth bynnag - mae'n amlwg bod y dyn eisoes wedi penderfynu ar ei flaenoriaethau yn y swydd newydd - dyma roedd ganddo i'w ddweud wrth y Shropshire News.

I look forward to leveraging my new position to further highlight my constituents’ concerns, especially in areas such as health and transport, as well as doing everything in my power to help promote economic growth.

As a long-standing advocate of the agricultural industry, I will continue to strongly lobby for farmers throughout my constituency, and look forward to working closely with my fellow Shropshire MP Owen Paterson, the new Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, in the weeks and months to come.

Diweddaraiad - ychydig o waith ymchwil gan Golwg360. Ymddengys nad ydi Daniel yn rhy hoff o - wel - o Gymru, credwch y peth neu beidio.

Mae hefyd wedi bod yn llafar iawn yn gwrthwynebu adeiladu peilonau ar draws canolbarth Cymru - gan y byddwn nhw wrth gwrs hefyd yn croesi ei etholaeth ef. Ond dyw hynny ddim yn newid mawr o ystyried bod Glyn Davies hefyd yn erbyn.

Gaf i ofyn un cwestiwn sydd ddim i wneud gyda'r ysgrifennydd newydd. Pam fod pobl fel I F Jones uchod a llawer arall o Blaid Cymru dros ynni gwynt ac wedyn yn ei sgil y peilonau ar draws canolbarth Cymru i gyflenwi Lloegr gydag egni? Ai er mwyn safio'r byd neu ydych yn meddwl y bydd hyn o fudd ecomomaidd i Gymru ymhen amser.....neu efallai rhyw rheswm arall?

Anon uchod... pwy ddywedodd erioed fy mod i o blaid y tyrbinau gwynt? Dim ond nodi'r peth o ran diddordeb gwleidyddol oeddwn i. Dydw i ddim yn aelod o Blaid Cymru chwaith! :)

Rydw i o blaid Cymru yn gwneud ei siar o ran tyrbinau gwynt, ond ar hyn o bryd mae yna lawer mwy o'r pethau yng Nghymru nag yn Lloegr. Dylid eu taenu yn fwy cyfartal yn fy nhyb i.

Dyma bytiau o un araith (mae’r gweddill yn hynod debyg) a wnaed gan Daniel Kawczynski yn y Senedd ar Faterion Cymreig, 26 Chwefror 2009

‘As the hon. Gentleman knows, my main duty is to England and I speak on behalf of my constituents.

The Welsh Assembly creates huge difficulties for English border towns. As I said earlier, the Royal Shrewsbury hospital loses £2 million a year as a result of the different mechanism whereby the Welsh Assembly pays for treatment across the border.

The hon. Member for Montgomeryshire also mentioned flooding….The way to resolve the problem is not to have little barriers in each town, but to have a wet washland scheme at the source of the River Severn, across the border in Wales, which would flood a large piece of agricultural land, which would become a marsh in the summer, encouraging wildlife, and a lake in winter.

I have great concerns about the grants that the Welsh Assembly gives to businesses, which are much greater than those that we can afford in England. Those grants are uncompetitive and unfair. They lead to many Shropshire firms going just across the border to set up business and thus causing… significant job losses in Shropshire.

Finally, a lot of Welsh children come across the border to go to schools in my constituency. Many rural primary schools are under threat from closure because we receive only £3,300 per annum for every child and we are ranked 147th out of the 149 local education authorities in England, which is leading to huge pressure on our schools. I hope that the Minister will bear that in mind as well.

I am trying to say this respectfully, as the only English MP in a Welsh debate, but what I am trying to get across is this: I love Wales. We went on holiday to Wales last year, to Mwnt bay, which is absolutely beautiful. My family and I even spent an afternoon on the beach in Mwnt with my hon. Friend Mr Crabb and his family.

During my holiday I also met Mark Williams in Aberystwyth..’

Felly, mae cleifion a phlant ysgol o Gymru, a grantiau o Senedd Caerdydd yn ei boeni, ac mae o hefyd eisiau troi’r rhan fwyaf o’r canolbarth yn wlyptir er mwyn arbed Amwythig.
Cymwysterau - Mae o wedi bod ar ei wyliau ym Mwnt – ac wedi cyfarfod AS Ceredigion. Grêt!

Ys dywed y brawd yn ei eiriau ei hun! ‘..my main duty is to England’. Be ddiawl mae o yn ei wneud yn y swydd yma felly?

Hogyn o'r ynys
